I have always enjoyed learning of the different ways God makes Himself known to His people and hearing of the circumstances leading to their salvation. It is wonderful to know how His Spirit prompts us to accept the magnificent offer of salvation. I hope you enjoy this collection of testimonies and pray it will inspire you to ask someone you know to share theirs. For those who feel led to have their story posted here, please email to the address listed in the sidebar. Posts may also include testimony of how God has worked in your life since your salvation experience. I'm starting with mine and hope to hear yours soon.

Tanya's

I have a testimony to share.  I was saved late one night, after a worship service while attending a week of church camp, on June 30, 1976.  (I was 13 years old.  I'm 46 now.)  My youth counselor was the one who led me to the Lord.  Thanks Carol!  There's nothing better than a church camp because you go to camp to have fun and learn about the Lord.  There's only one way to get to Heaven and that's through Jesus Christ. "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."-John 14:6.  My hope is that someone who reads this will find the way, the only way.  It's so easy.  God's grace is there, waiting for you to ask for it.  I attended church all my life (Thanks Mom!) up to that time when I asked Jesus into my heart and have continued to be involved in a church.  I have had some wonderful experiences with different churches, Sunday School classes, church groups, and activities thus far in my life and I look forward to many more.  Thank you Jesus!  I just don't know what people do who don't know the Lord.  You need God more than ever these days.  I've not been a person to just sit down and share how to be saved but I have tried to live my life so that everyone would know that I love the Lord.  It is easier to type the words than to say them face to face.  Thanks Tyson for giving me the chance to share my feelings without all the stress of 'trying to do it perfectly'  in person.

I've been blessed with a Christian husband and two wonderful sons.  Not that life hasn't been challenging along the way!  My sons are ages 20 and 11 so there's definitely been some challenges there.  At some point you just have to give it to the Lord and I did.

Now, I just need to spread the Good News.  God is there, he's always there for me.  If bad times come, then He wants me to be stronger.  When good times are here, He is blessing me again!  Thank you Jesus!
